74LS04 is a Hex Inverter NOT gate IC with six independent gates, each performing a logic INVERT function. The output of an inverter is the complement of its input logic state – high input results in a low output and vice versa.
Operating voltage for this device is 5V, with a high-level input voltage of 2V and a low-level input of 0.8V. It comes in a 14-pin DIP package and can be mounted through a hole.
