Each switch in the 74HC4016 features two input/output terminals (nY and nZ) and an active HIGH enable input (nE). The analog switch is turned off when nE is LOW. Clamp diodes on inputs allow the use of current limiting resistors to interface inputs to voltages exceeding VCC.
Specified in compliance with JEDEC standard no. 7, this IC operates in a wide temperature range from -40°C to +125°C.
