The 74HC292/7292 and HC294/7294 are high-speed CMOS programmable divider/timer ICs fabricated with silicon C2 MOS technology. They can divide frequencies from 22 to 231 (HC292/7292) and 22 to 215 (HC294/7294). These devices feature two clock inputs, with the option for clock gating. They also include an active-low clear input for flip-flop initialization and test points for incoming inspection.
All inputs are protected against static discharge and transient excess voltage. HC292/294 have Q output with a "Totem pole" configuration, while HC7292/7294 have all outputs in "Totem Pole" configuration.
