The 74HC157 is a 16 Pin Quad 2-Input Multiplexer IC with an operating voltage range of 2V to 6V. It has a low input current of 1uA and high noise immunity. This IC is designed to select 4 bits of data from two sources under the control of a common data select input (S). The enable input (E) is active LOW, and when E is HIGH, all outputs (1Y to 4Y) are forced LOW regardless of other input conditions.
