74HC157 LS157 CMOS Quad 2-Line Multiplexer

The 74HC157 is identical in pinout to the LS157. It routes 2 nibbles (A or B) to a single port (Y) based on the Select input. Data is presented at the outputs in non-inverted form.
With a high level on the Output Enable input, all four Y outputs are set to a low level. This device is compatible with standard CMOS outputs and with pull-up resistors, also compatible with LSTTL outputs.
The 74HC157 is similar in function to the HC257, which features a 3-state output.
