74HC148 is a 16 Pin 8-Line to 3-Line Priority Encoder IC designed to encode Eight Data Lines to 3-Line Binary. It features priority decoding to ensure only the highest-order data line is encoded. The IC includes cascading circuitry (enable input EI and enable output EO) for octal expansion without external circuitry. Data inputs and outputs are active at the low logic level.
