The 74HC04 Hex Inverter NOT Gate IC consists of six independent gates, each performing the logic INVERT function. The output of an inverter is the complement of its input logic state, where a high input results in a low output and vice versa.
Operating voltage is 5V, with a high-level input voltage of 2V and a low-level input of 0.8V. The IC is designed with absolute maximum ratings over the operating free-air temperature range, recommended operating conditions, and electrical characteristics over the recommended operating free-air temperature range.
