The 74F244 is an octal buffer designed for driving bus lines of buffer memory address registers. It features two output enables, OEa and OEb, each controlling four of the 3-State outputs. The device is functionally equivalent to the 74F244 and has been designed to reduce the effects of ground noise. It offers very good capacitive drive characteristics.
Other advantages of the 74F244 include reduced ICC, reduced loading, and a split lead frame that offers increased noise immunity. It is available in an industrial temperature range of -40°C to +85°C and comes in an SSOP Type II package.
