The 60mm Aluminum Mecanum Wheels set includes 2 left and 2 right wheels, each with a series of rollers set at a 45-degree rotational axis parallel to the wheel's axis. These wheels can be connected using universal hubs to your drive motor, controller boards, and batteries. Moving all four wheels in the same direction causes the robot to move forward or backward, while running wheels in opposite directions on each side enables lateral movement without changing orientation. The Mecanum wheels offer the advantage of all four wheels contributing force in various directions without altering the robot's orientation.
