The Carbon Fiber tube of the same weight as an aluminum or steel tube can be much stronger and lighter. Manufactured predominantly using high modulus (T700) unidirectional prepreg carbon Fiber oriented to provide maximum strength in the lateral axis. Made of High Strength Carbon fibers and epoxy resin. The outside has a nice twill weave, whereby the carbon fibers are woven in different angles, which gives the tubes great strength and stiffness at minimum weight. When it comes to flexing, these carbon tubes perform much better than metal ones. Roll wrapped carbon Fiber tubes offer superior strength in general use to pultruded tubes which have all their Fibers running in exactly the same direction.
