The 0-6 750mA Step Down Transformer is designed to act as a step-down transformer, reducing AC from 230V to 6V. It has a non-center tapped secondary winding with flying colored insulated connecting leads approximately 100mm long. The transformer is suitable for various applications such as DIY projects requiring high current drain, on-chassis AC/AC converters, and designing battery chargers.
The transformer's construction includes a solid core and winding. It is a static electrical device that transfers energy through inductive coupling between its winding circuits.
