The 0-18 5Amp Step Down Transformer is designed to act as a step-down transformer, reducing AC from 230V to 18V. It has a non-center tapped secondary winding with flying colored insulated connecting leads that are approximately 100mm long. The transformer is suitable for various applications such as DIY projects requiring high current drain, on-chassis AC/AC converters, and designing battery chargers.
