The Bluetooth XBee USB Adapter FT232RL for Arduino is a compact USB with a serial adapter equipped with BEE (20pin 2.0mm) sockets. It features an integrated FT232RL IC, making it ideal for programming or communicating with boards like Sniffer Nano that have basic Arduino functionality but lack a USB interface. Additionally, this adapter allows you to connect your PC to various wireless applications via BEE compatible modules and supports the XBee interface.
Due to the 2 mm pin spacing of XBee modules, it is recommended to use one adapter board for each module. These adapter boards offer advantages such as breadboard-friendly standard 0.1-inch pin spacing, mounting holes, and easy-to-solder connections. Even when communicating point-to-point without a PC, having at least one XBee USB Adapter Board is recommended for easy configuration and testing of each XBee module before deployment in a point-to-point application.
Applications include direct PC connection with XBee adapters via a USB cable, configuring Bluetooth Bee, or using it for data transmission, and as an ARDUINO BOARD PRO MINI Downloader.
