The newly designed XBee Shield is an adapter board that allows you to use any compatible Xbee module with your Arduino. It enables wireless communication using Zigbee technology, with a range of up to 100 feet indoors or 300 feet outdoors (line-of-sight). The shield features through-hole solder pads for easy pin breakout.
The shield's simple design and dual-row pins with standard spacing make it convenient to use with Xbee products. Each pin is clearly identified for easy setup. The board also allows for free soldering with a female socket.
