Winsen Electronics MC119 Catalytic Flammable Gas Sensor
Advanced gas sensor with catalytic combustion principle for detecting various flammable gases
- Principle: Catalytic combustion
- Detectable Gases: Hydrogen, ethylene, gasoline, VOC (alcohol, ketone, benzene)
- Bridge Components: Test element and compensate element
-
Advantages:
- Good sensitivity to methane
- Long lifespan
- Low cost
- Simple drive circuit
Winsen Electronics MC119 utilizes a catalytic combustion principle with two arms of an electric bridge, comprising a test element and a compensate element. The resistance of the test element increases upon exposure to combustible gases, leading to a proportional change in the output voltage of the bridge. The compensate element plays a crucial role in compensating for temperature and humidity variations.
The sensor offers a linear bridge output, ensuring quick response, good repeatability, and selectivity. It exhibits excellent stability and resistance to interference from gases like H2S and organosilicon.
