The M.2 specification identifies 12 key IDs on the module card and socket interface, with common keys being B, M, and B+M. Key type is labeled on or near the edge connector of the SSD. M.2 modules can integrate functions like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, satellite navigation, near field comm, and Digital Radio. This adapter only supports PCI-E channel.
