This Infrared Obstacle Avoidance IR Sensor Module from Waveshare features a pair of infrared transmitting and receiving tubes. The LM393 voltage comparator circuitry processes the reflected IR waves, with a green indicator LED for visual feedback. The module has a 4-wire interface and works with 3.3 to 5V levels. It emits infrared beams and detects reflected beams within a range of 2cm to 30cm. Ideal for robot path tracking, obstacle-avoiding cars, and pipeline counters.
