This IMX219 Camera with 800 megapixels and 160° FOV features IR-CUT infrared technology, making it suitable for various applications. It is compatible with Jetson Nano and can be used with CM3/CM3+ expansion boards like Raspberry Pi Compute Module IO board, Compute Module IO Board Plus, Compute Module POE Board of Waveshare, and the Stereo Pi board.
By connecting the IO port on the board to GPIO, you can easily switch between day and night vision modes. Simply input a high level (3.3V) to turn off the infrared filter for night vision and a low level (GND) to activate the filter for daytime use.
While in night vision mode, a reddish effect may appear in daytime pictures, which is a normal occurrence.
