This Waveshare 4-inch LCD display features a high-resolution 480x800 IPS screen with a resistive touch panel. It is compatible with various Raspberry Pi models and can also function as a computer monitor when connected via HDMI. The touch panel is unavailable in monitor mode, requiring an HDMI cable for display.
Drivers are provided for easy setup with Raspbian, Ubuntu, Kali, or Retropie. The display includes a 3.5mm audio jack for HDMI audio output and can be powered efficiently by turning off the backlight.
