This Waveshare 7-inch display is designed for Raspberry Pi, featuring a toughened glass capacitive touch panel. It supports various Raspberry Pi models and can also be used as a computer monitor. The hardware connection is simple, just connect the DSI interface of the display to the Raspberry Pi. Please note that the Raspberry Pi is not included in this kit and needs to be purchased separately.
Supported operating systems include Raspbian, Ubuntu, Kali, and WIN 10 IoT, with driver-free installation. The backlight can be adjusted via software for optimal viewing experience.
For easy installation, you can fix the Raspberry Pi on the backside of the display using screws. Another adapter board is required for CM3/3+DSI interface compatibility.
