The W5500 is designed with hardware logic gates to implement the transport and network layers of the TCP/IP protocol stack, reducing the workload on the host computer and improving system utilization and reliability. It supports various protocols like TCP, UDP, ICMP, IPv4, and more. The integrated 32K bytes of on-chip RAM serves as a data transceiving buffer, enhancing data processing efficiency.
The module comes with a compact design, LED status display, and C application routines for easy integration into embedded applications.
