ULN2003 High-Voltage, High-Current Darlington Arrays
Powerful Darlington arrays for driving a variety of loads
- Output current: 500 mA per driver (600 mA peak)
- Output voltage: 50 V
- Integrated suppression diodes: Yes
- Inputs compatibility: TTL/CMOS/PMOS/DTL
Top Features:
- Seven Darlingtons per package
- Outputs can be paralleled for higher current
- Input pins placed opposite to output pins for easy layout
The ULN2003 is a high-voltage, high-current Darlington array featuring seven open collector Darlington pairs with common emitters. Each channel can handle a continuous current of 500 mA and peak currents of up to 600 mA. The device includes integrated suppression diodes for driving inductive loads and is compatible with various input types.
These versatile arrays are ideal for driving a wide range of loads such as solenoids, relay DC motors, LED displays, filament lamps, thermal printheads, and high-power buffers. The ULN2003 comes in a 16-pin DIP package with a copper leadframe that helps reduce thermal resistance.
