ULN2003 Darlington Transistor Array
High-voltage, high-current Darlington arrays with suppression diodes
- Output current: 500 mA per driver (600 mA peak)
- Output voltage: 50 V
- Integrated suppression diodes: Yes
- Inputs compatibility: TTL/CMOS/PMOS/DTL
The ULN2003 is a versatile high-voltage, high-current Darlington transistor array. It features seven open collector Darlington pairs with common emitters, making it ideal for driving a wide range of loads including solenoids, relay DC motors, LED displays, filament lamps, thermal printheads, and high-power buffers.
Each channel in the ULN2003 is rated at 500 mA and can handle peak currents of up to 600 mA. The device includes integrated suppression diodes for driving inductive loads and has inputs placed opposite the outputs for simplified board layout.
Supplied in a 16-pin DIP package with a copper leadframe, the ULN2003 offers reduced thermal resistance for improved performance.
