The latest version of the TMC2208 V1.2 eliminates the need for extra wiring by directly using the UART function. With a flexible microPlyer interpolation unit, it can achieve up to 256 microstep/step resolution, ensuring perfect sinusoidal control even in limited pulse rate systems. The component is designed to be compatible with existing 3D printer electronics, saving on redesign costs. It features pulse/direction input and can operate independently. Configuration is done via digital input.
