This shield supports 16-bit mode and allows the use of SD card and touch function simultaneously on the Arduino Mega board. It is designed to be compatible with TFT 3.2, 4.3, 5.0, and 7.0 TFT01 LCD modules, which operate at 3.3V. The shield can be directly plugged into the Arduino board to make the TFT01 LCD modules compatible with Arduino Mega.
The TFT01 LCD now supports 16-bit mode, eliminating issues encountered with the 328S. It enables the use of both SD card interface and touch screen interface for Arduino Mega2560.
