The TDA7000 is a monolithic integrated circuit designed specifically for mono FM portable radios. It offers high performance with minimal peripheral components, ensuring small dimensions and cost-effectiveness. The IC features an efficient FLL system with an intermediate frequency of 70 kHz, providing excellent selectivity through active RC filters. The only alignment required is for the resonant circuit, simplifying frequency selection. Additionally, spurious reception is prevented by a mute circuit that eliminates noisy input signals. Stringent measures are in place to meet radiation requirements.
