In a scenario where the phase line is open, the lamp holder will not function at 440V, potentially damaging the bulb. However, a 3-in-1 tester like this one will indicate the presence of a different phase of 440V by glowing more brightly. If the phase is obtained from one wire and the bulb does not glow at the other end, it indicates that the wires are from the same phase. The fully insulated blade ensures shock-proof operation.
