Raspberry Pi has a 40 Pin GPIO header to interact with the real world. Connecting circuits to the RPi on that 40-pin header is made easier with the T-Cobbler board. This board brings out the pins from the Raspberry Pi to a breadboard, allowing you to easily create and connect your circuit to the RPi.
The T-Cobbler is an add-on prototyping board specifically designed for the Pi 3, 2 Model B, B+, and Zero accessories. It can break out all the power, GPIO, I2C, and SPI pins from the 40-pin header onto a solderless breadboard. This set makes prototyping with the Pi super easy.
You can simply plug the 40-pin GPIO cable between the Pi computer and the T-Cobbler breakout. The T-Cobbler can then plug into any solderless breadboard, providing a simplified way to connect and prototype circuits with your Raspberry Pi.
