The Grove High Precision RTC v1.2 is a Twig member based on the DS1307 clock chip supporting the I2C protocol. It uses a Lithium cell battery (CR1225) and consumes only 300-500nA on battery, making it an efficient choice over the mbed's built-in RTC. The clock/calendar provides various time and date functionalities, including leap-year compensation and AM/PM indication.
