The Grove Capacitive Moisture Sensor Module is designed to detect soil moisture levels based on capacitance changes. Its corrosion-resistant feature prolongs the sensor's lifespan by reducing electrode erosion. Please note that this sensor provides qualitative soil humidity testing and not quantitative measurements. The output value decreases with rising soil humidity and increases with decreasing humidity.
Applications include soil moisture detection and automatic plant watering.
