This TB67S249FTG Stepper Motor Driver Compact Carrier is a breakout board for Toshiba's TB67S249FTG micro-stepping bipolar stepper motor driver. It is designed in the popular 16-pin Pololu form factor, offering a more compact alternative to full breakouts.
The driver features adjustable current limiting and seven micro-step resolutions, down to 1/32-step. It dynamically selects an optimal decay mode by monitoring the actual motor current, automatically reducing the driving current below the full amount when the motor is lightly loaded to minimize power and heat.
With a wide operating voltage range of 10V to 47V, this carrier board can deliver approximately 1.6A per phase continuously without the need for a heat sink or forced air flow (up to 4.5A peak). It also includes built-in protection against under-voltage, over-current, and over-temperature conditions.
