The DRV8838 is a tiny H-bridge motor driver IC that can control one brushed DC motor bidirectionally from 0V to 11V. It is capable of supplying up to 1.7A continuously and can handle peak currents up to 1.8A for short durations, making it perfect for small motors operating on low voltages.
Our breakout board transforms the DRV8838 into a more user-friendly 10-pin DIP package, allowing easy use with standard solderless breadboards and 0.1 perfboards. The board comes populated with SMD components, including the DRV8838 and an added FET for reverse battery protection. For detailed usage, we recommend referring to the DRV8838 datasheet.
