PL-2303HXA highly compatible drivers simulate the traditional COM port on most operating systems, enabling easy migration of existing COM port applications to USB. With USB bulk transfer mode and automatic flow control, it achieves higher throughput than traditional UART ports. The flexible baud rate generator allows rates between 75 bps to 6M bps. Designed for mobile and embedded solutions, it has low power consumption in both operating and suspend modes, making it ideal for bus-powered operations.
PL-2303HXA can connect directly to devices in the 3.3V~1.8V range, providing a flexible signal level requirement on the RS232-like serial port side. It comes with drivers for Windows, Mac OS, Linux, and WinCE, and is designed for Windows XP, Vista, 7 Certified Logo Drivers.
