The flight controller (aka FC) is the brain of the Drone (Quadcopter). It's a circuit board with sensors that detect movement and user commands to control motor speed. Pixhawk 2.4.8 supports 8 RC channels and 4 serial ports. It offers various user interfaces for programming and reviewing logs, including smartphone apps. The system provides automatic configuration of peripherals and offers Unix/Linux-like programming environment with new autopilot functions and mission scripting capabilities.
