The Micro is a microcontroller board based on the ATmega32U4, developed in conjunction with Adafruit. It features 20 digital I/O pins, 7 PWM outputs, 12 analog inputs, a 16 MHz crystal oscillator, micro USB connection, ICSP header, and a reset button. This board is ideal for basic Arduino sketches and USB client projects, such as emulating a mouse or keyboard.
Similar to the Arduino Leonardo, the Micro has built-in USB communication, eliminating the need for a secondary processor. It can emulate a mouse and keyboard, in addition to a virtual serial/COM port. The board includes a processor, crystal, micro USB connection, reset button, ISP header, LEDs, and a 3.3V regulator. While not shield compatible, it has all the same pins as a Leonardo, making it suitable for compact projects or breadboard use.
Package Includes: 1 x Original Arduino Micro without Headers
