This water flow sensor is designed with a plastic body housing, rotor/Oval gear, and a hall-effect sensor on a PCB electronics board. As the liquid flows through the oval gear rotor, its speed varies with the flow rate. The magnetic rotor reacts with the Hall sensor, which then outputs a corresponding pulse signal.
