The Neo 7M GPS module is designed with a molded plastic case for protection against the elements, making it ideal for aircraft or quadcopter use. It features an active circuitry ceramic patch antenna for excellent GPS signal and includes a rechargeable backup battery for HOT starts. The module also has an IC EEPROM for storing configuration settings and comes pre-configured to run at 38400 Baud, compatible with APM/Pixhawk systems.

Note: APM 2.5 and APM 2.0 have an internal compass that must be disabled before connecting the 3DR GPS + Compass module.
