The MUR1660CT 16A, 600V Ultra Fast Diodes are of planar, silicon nitride passivated, ion-implanted, epitaxial construction. They are designed for use as energy steering/clamping diodes and rectifiers in a variety of power switching applications. Their ultra-fast recovery with soft recovery characteristics minimizes ringing and electrical noise in power circuits.
These state-of-the-art devices are suitable for switching power supplies and inverters. With a low forward voltage drop and high efficiency, they help reduce power loss in the switching transistor.
