The MPR121 is a capacitive touch sensor controller driven by an I2C interface. It can control up to twelve individual electrodes and features eight LED driving pins. The chip also includes a simulated thirteenth electrode. The board has four jumpers, all closed by default, with an address jumper tying the ADD pin to the ground, setting the default I2C address to 0x5A. If you need to change the address, remember to open the jumper first. The jumpers also connect SDA, SCL, and the interrupt pin to 10k pull-up resistors. If not needed, you can open the jumpers by cutting the trace connecting them.
