The MOC8102 optocoupler features a gallium arsenide infrared emitting diode optically coupled to a silicon planar phototransistor detector in a plastic plug-in DIP-6 package. It is designed for signal transmission between two electrically separated circuits, with a maximum permissible reference voltage limit to prevent circuit damage. The lack of connection to the base terminal results in significantly enhanced common mode interference immunity.
Compliant with RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC and WEEE 2002/96/EC standards, this optocoupler offers reliable performance in various applications. The surge forward current capability of 2.5 A and collector-emitter breakdown voltage of 30 V ensure efficient operation within specified parameters.
