The MKS SBASE V1.3 is the latest motherboard for 3D printers, based on the ARM platform with a 32bit 100M Cortex-MS MCU-LPC1768. It addresses previous issues and adds new features for enhanced performance.
Notable improvements include fixing temperature problems, adding thermocouple pins, and creating additional pins for further development. The board also extends 3.3V / 5V for endstops power and comes preassembled with two big heatsinks.
It supports TFT series and LCD12864 displays but not 2004 or OLED displays. The board works seamlessly with Smoothieware firmware, offering easy secondary development and network functions for remote control.
With the DRV8825 stepper driver, users can set stepper motor currents directly to prevent damage. The board features high-quality FR-4 4 layers PCB and a special design for cooling, along with a professional power chip supporting 12V-24V DC input.
