The Pollution Click has high sensitivity to organic gases such as methanal (formaldehyde), benzene, alcohol, and toluene. It carries the WSP2110VOC gas sensor with a detection range of 150ppm. The sensor is a MOS type that detects volatile organic compounds harmful to health in high concentrations. The sensor's conductivity is affected by the concentration of the target gas, with higher concentrations leading to higher conductivity.
The P1 potentiometer onboard is used for trimming the sensor's sensitivity. The click is designed to reduce power consumption when not in use by enabling the pin drive gate of the heater's MOSFET switch. The detection range of the sensor is 150ppm, with parts per million representing the ratio of one gas to another in a gas mixture.
Applications of the Pollution Click include automatic exhaust devices, air cleaners, harmful gas detection devices, and more.
