- Adjustable load resistance for calibration
- Preheating required for precise calibration
- Communicates through AN (OUT) mikroBUS line
The Methane Click carries an MQ-4 sensor specifically designed for methane (CH4) detection. The tin dioxide gas sensing layer on the sensor unit provides accurate readings by adjusting conductivity based on methane levels (200-10000ppm). Calibration is made easy with a small potentiometer to adjust the load resistance of the sensor circuit. For optimal performance, the sensor requires preheating for 24 hours upon power-up to reach the correct temperature. It interfaces with the target board through the AN (OUT) mikroBUS line and operates on a 5V power supply.
