The MIC4576 series of BiCMOS step-down voltage regulators offers easy-to-use solutions for various applications. The 200 kHz model provides efficient performance, reducing the size of the output filter inductor by up to 2:1 compared to the LM2576.
With fixed and adjustable output versions available, the MIC4576 can drive a 3A load while maintaining excellent line and load regulation. The regulator ensures voltage stability with tolerances of ±2% for adjustable versions and ±3% for fixed versions.
In Shutdown mode, the regulator draws minimal current, making it ideal for power-saving applications. Additionally, the MIC4576 features cycle-by-cycle current limiting and thermal shutdown for reliable protection under fault conditions.
This series of regulators requires minimal external components, operating with standard inductors. Internal frequency compensation simplifies the design process, while the TO-220 and TO-263 packages cater to industrial temperature requirements.
