All modules on this board can work together or separately, each with its own pinout headers. It's a convenient solution for new projects requiring Uno and WiFi connectivity. Sketches and firmware can be updated via USB for ATmega328 and ESP8266.
This board is a customized version of the classic MEGA R3, combining the Atmel ATmega2560 microcontroller and ESP8266 Wi-Fi IC with 32Mb of flash memory and a CH340G USB-TTL converter on a single board. The onboard USB-serial converter CH340G simplifies usage with a DIP-switch to connect the modules in different configurations.
The operating mode is selected using the DIP switches on the board, allowing for various connections between CH340G, ATmega2560, and ESP8266. There's also a switch to change the connecting port between ATmega2560 and ESP8266.
After choosing the board's mode, you can proceed to set up the IDE. When programming the ESP8266 module, remember to press the Mode button.
