The MCP4802 devices are dual 8-bit, 10-bit, and 12-bit buffered voltage output Digital-to-Analog Converters (DACs) with a single 2.7V to 5.5V supply. Each channel can operate in Active or Shutdown mode individually, allowing for power savings. The devices feature double-buffered registers for synchronous updates, a Power-on Reset (POR) circuit, and a resistive string architecture for low DNL error and fast settling time.
These devices provide high accuracy and low noise performance, ideal for consumer and industrial applications requiring signal calibration or compensation like temperature, pressure, and humidity. Available in PDIP, SOIC, and MSOP packages, the MCP4802 devices are specified for extended temperature range (+125°C).
