The M5Core2 is the second generation core device in the M5Stack development kit series, featuring an ESP32 model D0WDQ6-V3 MCU with dual-core Xtensa 32-bit 240Mhz LX6 processors. It supports WiFi and Bluetooth, has 16MB Flash, and 8MB PSRAM. The device includes a 2.0-inch integrated capacitive touch screen, a vibration motor, and an on-board 390mAh lithium battery for extended usage.
Additionally, the M5Core2 features an RTC module for accurate timing, an AXP192 power management chip for efficient power control, and a green LED power indicator. It retains the SD card slot and speakers, with an I2S digital audio interface power amplifier chip for high-quality sound output. The device also includes capacitive buttons, a 6-axis IMU sensor, and a microphone for expanded functionality.
The M5Core2 supports development platforms like Arduino, UIFlow (using Blockly, MicroPython language), making it suitable for various applications such as IoT terminal controllers, STEM education products, DIY creations, and smart home equipment.
