This antenna is supported for GSM FCT of Micromax and other GSM Module/Modems. Screw mount antennas are commonly used for car and truck applications. The antenna's screw base can be fitted permanently to any metal surface and direction with the screw provided at the base of the antenna vehicle. The metal surface of the car acts as a ground plane to bounce the signal. Since screw mount antennas require a ground plane, they should be mounted on metal.
