The LVR series PPTC (polymeric positive temperature coefficient) devices are rated at 240VAC, allowing maximum voltages of up to 265VAC. These devices are designed to protect against mechanical overloads, overheating, stall, lost neutral, and other harmful conditions in commercial home appliances. The PolySwitch technology ensures resettable over-current protection in higher voltage applications.
When placed near heat-generating components like magnetics, FETs, or power resistors, the thermally active devices provide protection against over-current and over-temperature faults in power supplies, transformers, and control circuits.
Applications:
- Industrial Controls
- Home Automation
- Transformers
- Motors
- Fans
- Lighting Ballast
- Security and Fire Alarm Systems
