  • UL, CSA, and TÜV recognised
  • Solid-state for mechanical shock and thermal stress resistance

PolySwitch LVR series PPTC (polymeric positive temperature coefficient) devices are designed to protect against mechanical overloads, overheating, stall, lost neutral, and other harmful conditions in commercial home appliances. These devices are rated at 240VAC with a maximum voltage of 265VAC and hold currents ranging from 50 to 550mA. The LVR series extends the proven PolySwitch technology into higher voltage applications, providing resettable over-current protection.

When placed near heat-generating components like magnetics, FETs, or power resistors, these thermally active devices offer protection against over-current and over-temperature faults in power supplies, transformers, and control circuits.

Applications:

  • Industrial Controls
  • Home Automation
  • Transformers
  • Motors
  • Fans
  • Lighting Ballast
  • Security and Fire Alarm Systems
